"The Tonic of Wildness," Poetry Reading at the Concord Free Public Library

Susan Edwards Richmond and Wendy Drexler, poets and naturalists, will read from their latest collections, followed by light refreshments and conversation about the making of poems that link their lives to what Thoreau calls the “inexhaustible vigor” of wildness in the natural world.

A free event sponsored by The Friends of the Library and offered as part of Concord’s yearlong Thoreau Bicentennial, Concord Free Public Library, 129 Main St., Concord.
